My brother has decided to start a digital installations business and I offered my services in order to produce his business cards, including the branding and digital artwork.
After some persistence with Good Print I'm finally happy with the finish on the new cards.
They're printed on their standard 400gms card, which gives a better feel than a budget printer such as VistaPrint, though not as good as using a bespoke digital print shop.
Unless you want your artwork scratched en route, have your cards coated in either the matte or gloss laminated finish—they won't tell you this on their site.
Business Card Design | Wired4DigitalContracted as a freelance designer I was responsible for the front-end development, CSS styling, theming and integration into the Drupal 6 CMS platform, whilst liasing closely with the Herd Comms development team.

I have developed the new website for Coppice Farm Primary School. The new design has pushed the quality of their website above many of their peer primary schools in terms of professionalism, clear information and accessibility.
The mechanics of the website run off the WordPress CMS platform delivering flexible, unintimidating content and editing capabilities for school staff ensuring their website becomes a primary means of communicating.

Over the course of several months stemming from September last year I was working to help Southwell Minster establish a new online web presence.

One of my client websites has had a lot of success in Google lately maintaining a steady first page position for the past few months, and has recently jumped to the top of the pile on the organic listings for the term "Nottingham Marketing".
Over the last couple of weeks I have been developing a logo identity for a business in America who specialise in creating Math and Algebra work books to assist young students outside of their normal education.
The above images are a couple of logo variants I produced within Adobe Illustrator based on one of the concepts I put forward.
WAKE: Working for Alternative Kids EducationOne more reason I look forward to Autumn. Earlier this month I headed down to the Nottingham Goose Fair with the intention of soaking up some of that electricity. The start of November will again see the Forest Fields glow bright with Bonfire Night alongside its' dazzling annual firework display.
This flier was created in Photoshop using some of the imagery I came back with previously. (see below)

The below images are a small selection of photos I took from this year's Goose Fair.
I created this logo with the intention of using it to front my freelance design services. However it is now unlikely to come into use having instead decided to opt for a more personable business image.
